The University of Jamestown had a conference-best 96 spring scholar-athletes, it was awarded to Rachel Perish of Long Prairie and announced by the North Star Athletic Association. In order to qualify for this award, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.25 grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
Courtney Ruda of Long Prairie, was recently awarded an occupational training scholarship worth $1,000 from National Catholic Society of Foresters (NCSF), a fraternal life insurance society. Courtney belongs to NCSF’s St. Mary Court 1108 in Long Prairie.
