LPGE One Act play performs “Inanimate”
The Long Prairie-Grey Eagle One Act Play group put on a public show at the secondary school last Friday night. They began practicing a couple nights a week starting in November. One Act Play performances can be no longer than 35 minutes in competition, there is only 10 minutes to set up, and all sets need to fit in a 10-foot by 10-foot container. LPGE competed at subsections the last weekend of January, but did not advance. Director Kari Tomoson noted that she “couldn’t be more proud of the crew,” and was impressed with their improvement, especially with many newcomers to One Act. LPGE students participating in One Act this year included: Abbi Larson, Aleah Kleinschmidt, Chloe Maras, Andrea Orozco, Abbey Grabowski, Joshua Blanchard, Katie Spacey, Gabby Bartels, Gabby Pentz, Sam Kasper, Sara Gustafson, Spencer Freeman, Tara Hendrickson, and Bryandt Calhoun.
