Area sixth graders get hands on learning at Enviro-Fest

A rainy day last Thursday didn’t stop just under 400 sixth grade students from Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, Browerville, St. Mary’s, Bertha-Hewitt, Staples-Motley, Osakis, St. John’s, Christ the King, St. Agnes, and home schools from attending the 24th annual Enviro-Fest, which was again hosted at the Katterhagen farm east of Browerville. There were 19 stations with presentations and activities for students to get hands on learning about everything environment related. Top photo: Students learned all about different forms of water.
